I’m a blogger, writer, and interactive marketing consultant (or something like that).

I started blogging many moons ago when I was working in Beverly Hills on Rodeo Drive (no joke). Basically, I started writing about my wacky experiences in LA - stuff like being behind a guy in Starbucks who ordered a 147 degree soy latte. Really? Was 146 too cold and 148 too hot? And then I made what can either be called the stupidest or smartest move in my nearly 27 years… I moved to Kansas… for a dude.

All that needs to be said is that the relationship with the guy didn’t work out. My relationship with Kansas somehow has. I’ve been here for over three years and my temporary stop in the midwest is becoming harder to justify as temporary.

Stuff I like: social media, shoes, wine, sushi, microbrews, Target, my BFFs, venti non-fat two Splenda lattes, creativity, the housewares section at TJ Maxx, shamelessly bad reality TV, gadgets, Delta Gamma, Macs, spoooning, dive bars, pink kitchen accessories, classic rock, brunch, Pugs, dancing, celebrity gossip blogs, the Sunday paper, cooking, Barack Obama, my DVR, sarcasm, books, naps, and good design.

Stuff I don’t like: people who tell me what to do via blog comment, rules, Wal-Mart, canned vegetables, Pug farts, humorless individuals, humidity, folding laundry, tailgating, doing the dishes, busy work, know-it-alls, and hotel towels.
